![]() Playing achilles normal normal just to get a feel for the mechanics and my monster is cerberus. Im playing mythos btw, not big on the necessity for historical accuracy. Even sieges are actually full cities, though it's significantly advantageous to the defenders. Flanking is actually affective, There are many choke points and cliffs and elevation to take advantage of, at battles. Im a big fan of 4x amd rts games so if anyone knows any ways to make the actual game play more enjoyable and less, yaknow, wack a mole esque. Total War Troy's battle and siege maps are a huge step up over Total War Warhammer, by a big margin. I honestly tried refunding the game because despite all the improvements Im just genuinely not enjoying the game. Is there a mod to make my allies more agressive or some strategy to getting around the entire trojan faction aggroing on you when you assault one (I initiated the conflict I guess, but it was a minor faction not a pillar). I'm just bouncing around with 2 armies auto resolving small army battles that just keep springing up being forced to fight small settlement battles to win fights that should be "decisive defeats". with some opting for Reddit, Discord, Facebook, or MODDB. Haven’t played it in awhile but I remember it being fairly immersive. This is probably by design to a point but like it's just not fun. 2.1 Total War Saga: Troy Mods 2.2 Total War: Three Kingdoms Mods 2.3 Total War Saga: Thrones. There’s a good Medieval II mod on totalwarcenter called 1648, which goes into 17th century pike and shot tactics and the Thirty Years War more generally. ![]() The trojan faction is at war with the entire greek faction but the greeks are just sitting in the water off to the side while im over here playing wack a mole on land. Per the usual the AI regardless of who they're at war with prioritizes attacking the player which is understandable but it seems like the friendly AI is super passive. So I recently got total war troy and love alot of things about it but Im having trouble enjoying the core game so to speak.
